The Employment EXPO is a convenient,
cost-effective career fair that allows employers to
consolidate weeks of screening and interviewing
into a single day. Employers meet informally and
formally with job seekers, review resumes, and
identify candidates for follow-up employment
procedures. The event is highly publicized on
the university campuses and Dyess Air Force
base; and recent graduates also are encouraged
to participate. This event is NOT open to the general public, and thus will be advertised at consortium school campuses only.
Candidates who attend Employment EXPO represent
a wide range of academic and military skills
such as business management, retail sales,
accounting, finance, computer science,
information systems, CAD-CAM, marketing, human
resources, and health occupations.
Other areas of specialization include
agriculture, farm and ranch management,
horticulture, electronics, hydrology,
environmental sciences, social service, criminal
justice, and specific programs which prepare
candidates for employment in government and
non-profit sectors.
The Employment EXPO is especially designed for
organizations actively seeking prospects for
vocational, technical, and/or professional
positions.
